Smt. Devkiba Mohansinhji Chauhan college of Law: Managed by lions club of Silvassa Charitable trust organised a Multi disciplinary National level Conference on “Human Rights: Issues & Perspectives.” on 9th February 2019. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Rashmi M. Oza- dean of law faculty, University of Mumbai. Shri Fatehsinhji M Chauhan- Chairman, LCSCT presided over the inaugural function. Treasurer, Shri Vishvesh Dave and Managing committee member of LCSCT Shri Jayendrasinh Rathod too were present to witness the conference. Dr. Sanjay Maniar(dean of law faculty, VNSGU) and Dr. Vikram Desai (Principal of Siddharth law college, surat) were invited as resource persons.Dr. Rashmi Oza gave the students and researchers brief insight about human rights and related issues. Her views and ideas broadened our horizons of thinking. Dr Vikram desai, critically examined the paper presentations and gave his vauable remarks and suggestions. The conference was concluded with valedictory session by distributing certificates. It was a learning opportunity and the researchers and dignatories were benefitted immensely.
