On the outset of new academic year I feel honored to welcome you all on or behalf of Haveli Institute of Legal Studies and Researchand on my personal behalf. I also congratulate you for deciding to choose a career in field of law which is very exciting as well as need based for solving different legal problems of our society.
The main objective of Lions Club of Silvassa Charitable Trust is empowering the students through knowledge. The college has stood as a charioteer for the noble objective of the trust. In particular, the college has envisaged an action plan for improving the quality of legal education. The college has making sincere effort to produce responsible and efficient professionals thereby contributing to the legal system of the country.
Haveli Institute of Legal Studies and Research has very eco-friendly campus and it’s equipped with state of art infrastructure. We have well equipped Moot Court Room, Legal Aid Clinic and enriched library to help student in attending high standard in academics, research and professional skills. The main Focus of the institution is to empower students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and training both at academic level as well as in the highly competitive legal field.
The empowerment has been possible by round the clock efforts of dedicated and devoted teaching staff, experience guest faculties and ever valuable assistance of administrative staff. Our college is a symbol of highly productive ethnical enterprise with a visionary zeal. I am proud to place it on record that under the mentorship of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Fatehsinhji M. Chauhan and with the continues guidance of the members of the trust the college team has left its unique footprints in the sand of legal field of Dadra and Nagar Haveli in a short span of two years.
We believe that that all student should be challenged to achieve the highest standard, which they are capable of. This can only be achieved by ensuring safe, happy and caring college environment. We believe that students flourished when they feel confident, secure and respected. We have full faith in there inherent potential to revolutionaries the meaning of success and excellence.
